JUNIOR ACADEMY PRIVACY POLICIES AND WAIVERS
Below is our information form that outlines GameOnGolf and golfstudio Junior Golf Academy’s policies for its students, parents and/or guardians.
By your child attending academy classes you are agreeing to the following guidelines below:
1.VIDEO/PHOTO WAIVER
The “golfstudio Junior Golf Academy” often creates and publishes photo/video material which could include my child/children throughout the internet and social media for junior academy advertising purposes ONLY.
If you object to your child's photo been taken, please submit this preference in writing to gameon@gameongolf.com.au.
2.DRESS STANDARDS
The golfstudio facility has no dress requirements. However, during on course play, all parents/juniors are required to abide by the dress standards set by the Eastern Sward Golf Club, which states that denim, cargo shorts and collarless shirts are NOT allowed.
3. PARENT EDUCATION - HOW TO GUIDE YOUR CHILD IN GOLF
GameOnGolf, we consider ourselves a trailblazer in junior golf development. Our pride lies in a wealth of coaching experience dedicated to fostering the growth of each student. We equally emphasize educating parents on how to actively support their child's journey in our sport. In 2024, we'll kickstart the year by providing informative pamphlets to parents. Trust that we prioritize your child's best interests and aim to see them flourish in every session.
To maintain an optimal learning environment, we've designated our classes as a "kids-only zone" to minimize distractions. Rest assured, parents will stay well-informed with regular updates on their child's development. For your convenience, we've set up a comfortable parent waiting area at the entrance of our golf studio, complete with a coffee machine to enhance your experience at each session. Your trust and your child's progress are at the core of our academy's mission.
4.COACHING PAYMENTS
The “golfstudio Junior Golf Academy” requires students to be booked via trybooking prior to the commencement of any class.
5.NON ATTENDANCE
The “golfstudio Junior Golf Academy” is NOT obligated to provide individual “make up” class/es, or supply a refund if your child/children misses an academy class/es.
6.CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
At golfstudio, we’re lucky enough to be an indoor facility where we are protected from extreme weather conditions.
As students progress to on course play, we will inevitably need to relocate a class in the event of poor/ extreme weather conditions.
- Head Junior Coach will contact all families attending notifying of a class cancellation or change of venue.
-All families due to attend will have the option to attend a “make up” class WITHIN THE SAME WEEK
-If the “make up” class/es is cancelled due to wet weather, the Head Junior Coach will contact all families with an alternative “make up” class/es.
*NOTE If the weather forecast doesn’t predict extreme wet weather, and only light rain, the class will continue as scheduled and if required to be cancelled last minute or during the above “make up” class/es will apply.
7. BEHAVIOUR POLICY (3 Strikes)
Our coaching team is very skilled and experienced in coaching children. We provide very clear instruction on our expectations of those attending our group class and respect of these instructions is expected.
In the unlikely event a student is unable to abide by these instructions we adhere to a 3 strike policy. By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that they will conduct themselves appropriately.
3 strike policy:
1. First bad behaviour strike results in 10 minute sit out of group session.
2. Second bad behaviour strike results in parent/guardian being called and collect junior golfer immediately.
3. Final bad behaviour strike results in parent/guardian being called and collect junior golfer immediately, junior golfer ineligible for academy classes for the remainder of the term, all academy cash earned will be forfeited and meeting required prior to junior golfer enrolling for future junior academy classes.
8. CADDY'S
A “caddy” is recommended but not a requirement on “Game Day” events.
9.GOLFSTUDIO USAGE
The use of our golfstudio driving range is only included DURING your child’s academy class. Full golfstudio Junior membership is only $10 per week and gives students full access to the range, short game, putting green 7 days a week.
10. SPECIAL/MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Parent/Guardian’s Acknowledgement of Risk Information

By enrolling your child with our academy, I acknowledge that:
a) I am the parent/guardian of the Minor.
b) The Minor receives a recreational service from the Business.
c) The Activity involves a risk of physical harm.
d) The Minor may be injured in performing the Activity.
e) The Minor’s property may be lost, damaged, or destroyed in performing the Activity.
f) Others may cause harm or damage during the Activity.
g) The Minor may cause injury or damage during the Activity.
h) Natural conditions in which the Activity occurs may vary without warning.
i) The Minor’s participation is voluntary, not required by the Business.
j) The Minor disclosed any pre-existing medical conditions.
k) I disclosed any pre-existing medical conditions.
l) The Business relies on accurate information provided by the Minor.
m) I'm aware of risks associated with substance consumption by the Minor.
n) This document records the entire agreement between the Business, the Minor, and me.
o) I haven't relied on advice or inducements from the Business.
RISK WARNING

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Despite inherent risks, I agree to the Minor's participation at their own risk.
WAIVER, RELEASE & INDEMNITY

I exclude provisions of the Trade Practices Act 1974 regarding liability for death or injury from the Activity.

I release the Business, its employees, and agents from liability for injury, loss, or damage, unless caused solely by their negligence.
