Golfstudio Junior Academy guides young players through a clear, structured pathway—from fun games-based learning, to skill development, advanced training, and competitive play. Every phase supports juniors to grow their skills and passion for golf at their own pace.
Try our Learn or Train Phase class with a free trial session! It's a great chance for your child to explore their interests see if they want to commit. Join us for a fun experience!
Learn Phase is for kids aged 4-6 years! We use engaging games and golf metaphors to make learning enjoyable. Our focus is on building skills while ensuring your little ones have a blast. Join us in fostering a love for golf through play!
Train phase is designed for students aged 7 to 16. We focus on game-based learning to engage all skill levels. Our program includes classes for 7-11 years, girls-only squad, and sessions for 12-16 years, introducing 11 golf subjects each term.
In the Play phase, students can test their skills in an on course environment. This crucial opportunity allows them to apply what they've learned, and gain confidence. Embracing the challenge and enjoying the learning process.
Welcome to the Perform Phase! Designed for students 9 years+ who've advanced from the 9 level tee system, this stage focuses on enhancing skills and deepening your understanding of the game.
Congratulations on reaching the final phase, Compete! With a club handicap of 15 or, you're now poised to elevate your game to an elite level. This is an exciting time to refine your skills, strategize your play, and challenge yourself against top competitors.
Phase 1
'Learn' - Building basic FUNdementals
Junior golf classes for ages 4-6 focus on fun,-based learning to build a solid foundation in golf.
The LEARN phase includes:
- 1 weekly 45-minute session
- Games-based learning
- Introduction to fundamental movement skills
- Engaging golf metaphors for skill development
- Cost: $30 per session
- (Discounted full term fee -$200 for 8-week term)
- Mid-term enrolment available for individual sessions
- Trial any class free (subject to availability)
Saturdays - 9:30am-10:15am
Sundays - 9:30am-10:15am
Phase 2
'Train' - Elevating skills through games based learning
The second phase of our junior academy is for 7-16 year olds, focusing on game-based learning to engage all personality types and skill levels. We introduce 11 golf subjects for technical improvement each term.
The TRAIN phase includes:
- Academy bag tag, and starter pack
- Weekly 60-minute session
- Fun, golf-specific learning- Progression from Fundamental Movement Skills to Sports Skills
- On-course lessons and competition
- Exciting end-of-day challenges
We offer 3 classes options:
1. 7-11 year olds
2. "Girls Squad" (7-13 yrs)
3. 12-16 yrs class
Cost: $40 per individual session
(Discounted full term fee $280 for an 8-week term)
Mid-term enrolments and free trial classes are available.

Phase 3
'Perform' - Ready to step it up!
The third phase our junior academy is for junior golfers who have advanced through our 9-level tee system and are eager to improve.
The PERFORM includes:
- Academy cap, bag tag, and starter pack
- Weekly 90-minute Squad Training sessions
- Regular golf course lessons and competitions
- Personalized practice manual
- On-course lessons and competitions
- 1 x 30 minute private lesson
The cost is $60 per individual session
(Discounted full term fee $440 for an 8-week term).
Mid-term enrolments can book individual.
Saturdays - 1:30pm-3:00pm
Sundays - 1:30pm-3:00pm
Phase 4
'Compete' - the path to elite
The final phase in our junior academy is designed for advanced junior golfers that have successfully lowered their golf handicap to below 15. Focusing on year long practice planning and competition preparation.
The COMPETE phase comprises of the following:
Weekly “Squad Training” 120 minute sessions covering technical/skill development
- 1 x personalised practice manual for long term development
- 2 x private coaching sessions (within term scheduling)
- On Course lessons and competition (Includes green fee)
The COMPETE phase is $70.00 per session
($630 - 8 week term fee)
- Mid term enrolments available by booking individual sessions
